This school year’s first Friday, all the houses gathered in the big gym for one of the biggest house events all year: House Sorting Day. On this day, seventh and eighth grade students grouped into the gym where there were colorful neon lights, houses cheering, and friends laughing. Once everyone was in position and organized in the bleachers, the class of 2030 was ready to pour into the gym in groups of eight.
Confetti was popping and houses were cheering as students’ faces lit up with joy and excitement.
Sixth-grader Gwyn Carich said she was “very excited” to be sorted in the Protos house. “It was the house I wanted.”
