On October 1st at Liberty Middle School, Mr. Slaby’s replacement, Ms. O’Dell is getting married. Se says, “I’ve known my fiancé for 5 years. I’m getting married on Saturday, and I am very excited to be in Mexico for the next week”. She goes on to say, “We’ve lived together for over 4 years, and this is starting to make something official in government. I’m excited about the party. We’re having a big party with our friends and family. Ultimately, I really think that nothing is going to change except for the official part where we are married”.
Ms. O’Dell hopes that everything goes well with the wedding and her marriage. She says, “I sure hope things go well. That’s the dream, that’s the goal. We’re very intentional about talking through problems and not letting problems divide us. We face problems together”. Then, she says “Hopefully we can continue to work things out when problems arrive, and I’m hoping we can live up to 80 and 90 years old and still be married.”
