Girls’ basketball season is about to start at Liberty Middle School . Olivia Bernaix, one of the players, says “I’m excited to win games and play good.” Karina Chew is also looking forward to a great season. She says, “I’m most excited to work with my team and watch everyone progress and hopefully make it to state this year.” It is clear that Liberty’s Girls Basketball team is very team oriented, and the girls have good relationships with each other. There will be a number of home games this year. However, Olivia like the away games better. She says, “I like away games better because you get to go into someone else’s home gym and beat them.” Karina responded, “I like away games because we get to listen to music and hype each other up.”
