Liberty baseball is blasting through opponents one by one and is showing no signs of slowing down.

After the regular season Liberty is 10-2. With a run differential of 84, the Panthers are showing no mercy winning 8 games by short-gaming opponents. The Panthers are the #1 seed going into the regional tournament starting on Saturday.

Riley Iffrig has been a stand-out star this year for Liberty. He pitches, plays first base, and hits fourth in the lineup. When asked about his performance this year Riley said, “I’m doing well. It’s all about helping the team win.”

Another star for Liberty this year has been Luke Range. Range plays left field, pitches, and hits second in the lineup. “The team is playing the field and swinging the bats well,” Luke said.

The team is coached by Mike Sabatino. It is his second year coaching 8th grade baseball for the Panthers. “I think were the best team in the area and we can go far in the playoffs,” Coach Sabatino said prior to the game against Triad.
